Prince of Peace Church and School believes God has called them together to do his work by connecting people to Jesus and his community so they can transform lives and impact the world. Toward that mission, Prince of Peace has made an impact not only in the Tri-City area but through the missions they support around the world since the church was officially incorporated and received as a member church of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod in 1955.
Prince of Peace has grown to an average worship of 450 – 500 on Sunday with the addition of small groups and bible study, community outreach opportunities, young children and youth classes, and special event activities. They have a strong presence in Cambodia and Guatemala missions and schools.
With the guiding and protected hand of God, since 1957, Prince of Peace Christian School has been serving the Fremont, Newark, Union City, and Hayward areas, providing a quality academic and Christian foundation to almost 500 children and families in their preschool, elementary, and middle school and teaching them to know Jesus and how much God loves them. They strive to help their students to achieve not only academic success but also life success. They want their students to know that every one of them is a special and unique child of God. They get to know their students individually and celebrate their gifts and abilities. Blending a loving nurturing environment with personal accountability and responsibility, they educate the whole child.
